Details

Description

This varied tour starts at the midway station of the Arosa Weisshorn Cable Car (LAW) and follows well-maintained gravel paths to the Hörnli. The midway station is easily accessible by gondola, which offers ample space for hand bikes.

At the start, the route climbs gently toward the Carmenna Hut. The wide gravel path is pleasant to ride on and offers beautiful views of the Arosa mountains along the way. From the Carmenna Hut, the climb becomes a bit more challenging but remains manageable for handcyclists.

The entire route to the Hörnli follows a paved gravel path. Once you reach the destination, the impressive view invites you to linger and enjoy the scenery. For the return trip, follow the same route back to the LAW’s middle station.

Important note: Due to the dimensions of the handbike, it is not possible to use the Hörnli-Express. Therefore, the return trip follows the same route as the ascent.
