Description

The hike starts at the station, leads up along the Poststrasse and then goes down to the Müliboda, where the fun really begins. When you go up from the village after the Müliboda, you enter the beautiful Bündner nature up to the Hörnli. Along the way, you also pass the beautiful Älplisee, where you can enjoy a refreshing break. The further path leads you over the Gredigsfügli up to the Hörnli. Here you have the opportunity to refresh yourself at one of the most beautiful mountain huts in Graubünden. Then you can decide whether to take the gondola back down to the valley or take the hiking trail. Alternatively, you can continue hiking from here to the Weisshorn peak and only get on the gondola there.

Hidden Gem

Enjoy lunch at the Hörnli hut and a cooling off in the Schwelli or Älplisee.

Public Transport

You can take the train from Chur to Arosa and arrive directly at Arosa station, where the hike begins. If you want to shorten the route, you can take the bus for free to the Hörnli valley station and start the hike there.

Parking

There is a large car park behind Arosa station or, just one minute's drive away, the underground car park Ochsenbühl.

During the May holidays, the library is only open on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.!
