Description

From Hörnli, start on foot through the Urdental. At Urdenfürggli, the path first leads steeply downhill before the varied ascent to Gredigsfürggli begins. From Gredigsfürggli, a narrow hiking trail leads down at the foot of the Parpaner Weisshorn into a plain to the beautifully situated Älplisee. Then continue along a stony hiking path down to Schwellisee and further to Innerarosa.

It is worth taking a rest and enjoying the peace at the clear mountain lakes.

Sturdy footwear and weatherproof clothing are recommended.

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly from Chur to Arosa (also in the opposite direction).

At the station, take the bus towards Hörnli and travel to the Hörnli-Express valley station.

Travel Information

From Chur via the winding Arosa road to the end of the valley at Arosa.

Parking

At the entrance to the village there is a large signposting with the various parking options. We recommend the Brügli car park. For more information, visit Arosa Parking.

Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn

The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn is the core of the skiing area Arosa Lenzerheide, as it connects both destinations. After many years of planning and waiting, the cable car is in service since January 2014. Arosa Lenzerheide with its 225 kilometres of slopes, numerous mountain restaurants and sheer endless hours of sunshine, is the biggest connected skiing area of the Canton of Grisons.
