Description

In the direction of Ascharina, after 1 km is the Bellawiese guesthouse (Berenwies). From Bellawiese, the track leads southwards to Alpbach. Here you meet the ascent track that climbs along the Alpbach from the postbus stop "Ascharina Alpbachbrücke". Follow it further in a southeast direction until shortly before the Aschariner Alp, at the so-called Mälchstain (Usmälchi, 1930 m asl), then ascend southwards to the Fürggli (2255 m asl). Over the ridge, you reach Jägglisch Horn in a westerly direction.

You descend over the southwest ridge to Tälfsch, or, if there is enough snow, all the way down to Küblis. A beautiful descent with nearly 1500 meters of elevation loss. Return to St. Antönien by postbus or directly homeward by RhB.

On the north descent from Jägglischhorn, you ski down to the stream and follow it to Vordersäss and down to Ascharina. (Never underestimate avalanche danger on the northern slopes!)

Attention! Please observe the Jägglischhorn wildlife sanctuary zone during ascent and descent. Thank you for respecting nature!

Hidden Gem

Stop at the Gürgetschhof and buy goat cheese or dried meat as provisions.
