Details

Description

You start the Kesch Trek at the Flüelapass. From the Susch, Chantsura stop you hike to the newly renovated Grialetsch Hut. You can also start the stage in Dürrboden in the Dischma valley and walk from there to the hut (approx. 2h). Both options are well suited as an introduction to the long-distance hike.

Highlight:

Grialetsch Hut: The hut rebuilt in 2021 was adapted to current guest needs.

Hidden Gem

Admire the 4 murals in the Grialetsch Hut SAC – one for each of the four seasons – based on sections of various works by the famous painter Segantini.

Safety Note

The Kesch Trek is an alpine mountain hike. The possible dangers in the high mountains must be properly assessed. The hiking stages require good fitness.

Sturdy mountain boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, rain protection, provisions for the hiking stages (lunch packs can also be obtained in the huts), sufficient water, sun and head protection, pocket pharmacy, map material for orientation and possibly hiking poles.
