Description

The Kneipp route starts at the church in Acletta. When visiting the cool church, we prepare ourselves for the route. Then we read the information panel placed in front of the church, which provides information about Sebastian Kneipp. Along the way, we come across further information panels pointing to refreshing or relaxing Kneipp applications. We bathe our elbows in the cold fountain water, lie in the meadow just to hear and smell, or walk barefoot over fir cones. As a finale, there is a stream crossing secured with a rope. A guaranteed exhilarating experience. We stay on the left stream bank and still hike to the viewpoint at Clavau Su, which offers us a beautiful panoramic view of mountain and valley.

Hidden Gem

Those who still feel fit enough can continue the route to Caischavedra and join the themed trail Senda dils Laruns. The aerial cableway will bring you back to the valley.

Safety Note

The Acletta stream carries a lot of water in early summer. Then it is better to cross the bridge.

Equipment

Bring a towel

Directions

From the valley station of the aerial cableway, we hike uphill to Acletta up to the church. Here the Kneipp route begins. We follow the paved road a bit uphill to the junction. At the fountain, we find the second sign. Now we follow the driveway to the right into Val Acletta, which soon forks again. Always uphill we walk up until we reach another junction. We go straight on further into the valley. Along the way, there are information panels about the route. Before the end of the Kneipp route, there is a bench on the left. Then we first cross a small watercourse, afterwards we are at the stream where a rope is stretched for Kneipp users. On the other side of the stream, we follow the hiking trail until we reach a height. Now we turn right back into Val Acletta and cross the stream once again. A few meters further, we reach the driveway we came from Acletta on. So we hike back to the valley station on the same path.
