Description
The marble run trail is also embedded in a new "Ami Sabi" story about the Flims rockslide, written by the Grisons singer-songwriter and storyteller Linard Bardill. The marbles symbolize the rolling stones, and the Romansh name also alludes to this: Botsch means ball, Bova means rockslide.
The marble run trail is open from May to November, depending on snow conditions. This makes hiking a playful and, thanks to the narrative approach, interesting experience for children. The wooden marbles can be purchased at the cable car ticket office and at the tourist information office in Flims. The entire path is suitable for strollers, so even the youngest explorers can enjoy it. In addition, a new playground is being built at the mountain station, which will serve as the starting point for the marble run trail.
Hidden Gem
Enjoy the moment and linger at the Berghaus Foppa, and let the little ones romp around on the playground.
