Details
Description
From the mountain huts on the Fideriser Heuberge, climb between the two button lifts towards Arflinafurgga (2247 m a.s.l.). Then proceed southeast along the ridge. Over the Astserhöreli (2261 m a.s.l.) you reach point 2277, where you meet the ascent variant via the Peister Galtialp. The trail then leads steeper over the northwest ridge to Mattjischhorn, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view. Descent along the ascent route or, under appropriate conditions, down via the Peister Galtialp to the Fideriser Heuberge. The north slope of the summit must only be skied under very safe conditions.
Hidden Gem
Use the shuttle buses of the Fideriser Heuberge as an aid for the ascent. This way you have more time to enjoy the magnificent mountain world of the Fideriser Heuberge.
A stop at the mountain huts is also worthwhile.
