Description

Behind Arosa station at Obersee you board the gondola of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car and get off at the middle station. There you receive the all-terrain JST Multidrive wheelchair. An employee of Arosa Bergbahnen gives you a brief introduction.

From the middle station turn right, and after a few meters you reach Arosa Bear Land. After watching the bears, you return to Arlenwaldweg. You move right through the hiking and ski area, which in summer shows green meadows and grazing cows. At the Maran dairy there is delicious cheese made from the milk of the four Alps of the region. A little further down lies the Golf and Sporthotel Hof Maran. Opposite begins the Eichhörnliweg. There you will find a playground, a campfire site, and many tame animals. The path ends at Obersee, directly next to the valley station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car. To protect the squirrels and nature, it is important to stay on the path and not follow the animals.
