Description
The Panorama Ride takes us right round the entire Prättigau valley. The route consists of four stages so even hobby bikers can complete the individual tours. While the route remains challenging, it does offer some amazing views of the Prättigau mountain scenery, including the soaring peaks of the mighty Rätikon chain with the Alpstein, the Schesaplana, the Kanzelköpfen, the Drusenfluh and the Sulzfluh. Below those summits we wind our way through the mountains along several miles of single trails - close-up and personal - and all at 2000 m above sea level. And then of course there are the hilly expanses of the Duranna region on the other side of the valley. Much gentler and softer, with just as many vistas and equally thrilling and fast-flowing single trails. Plus the enchanted mountain lake setting and original alpine huts. And time and time again the wonderful views of the open valley of Prättigau. For those in search of altitude, there's no choice but up. And these ascents will certainly test your leg muscles. Indeed, expect sections where you simply have to push your bike. All of which efforts are then amply rewarded with very long and fast-paced descents into the valley, as thrilling as they are relaxing.
