Description

Leisurely with the Scuol mountain railways up to Motta Naluns (2150 m) and then muscle-powered uphill to the Chamonna Schlivera opposite the reservoir lake. From there, a trail runs along the left side of the mountain flank to Alp Clüñas. After about 400 m, the path leads steeply up over the Munt dal Piz to Piz Clüñas (2792 m). Here carrying/pushing is required. But once you reach the top, the view makes you forget all the effort. Now comes the fun part – the descent on the alpine trail towards Muot da l'Hom. Once there, it continues on a flowing trail to Alp Laret. This is ideal for a break with homemade Kaiserschmarrn or something similar during its operating times (alpine summer grazing). Those who have already satisfied their trail hunger here can follow the path to Ftan/Scuol. Otherwise, there is still something to discover in the opposite direction: the Val Tasna. The path leads via Alp Valmala through the wild valley, over the wild stream "Tasnan" back to Ftan/Scuol.

Hidden Gem

Make a detour to the "Palüds" trail center in Ftan.
