Description

From Sogn Bendetg we start heading north and make our way over open terrain and through forest until we reach the wildlife sanctuary where the path is partially defined. At the hut of Alp Dado Sura we find a nice spot for a first break. Via Falluns we then head towards Fuorcla Posta Biala. Our destination is near, but it still takes a while until we reach the foot of the summit. Here we make a ski depot as continuing with skis is no longer possible. The ascent to the summit, through a gully, is a climb that demands the last reserves of strength. But what a satisfaction and pleasure it is to be able to stand at the top. To the north the Tödi impresses with its neighboring peaks; the rest of the panorama stretches from the Surselva to the highest mountains in the west. As expected or at least hoped, we are the only ones here today because the Posta Biala can be considered a well-kept secret tip. Along the ascent route, we ski back down to Sogn Benedetg.

Hidden Gem

Directions
