Description

We take the 12-seater gondola up from Tannenheim to Prodalp. Once at the top, we follow the signs towards Panüöl. We walk to the left of the valley station of the 8-seater chairlift "Prodkamm" next to the piste and follow the winter hiking trail. This leads along the plain and is shared with the cross-country skiers. Afterwards, the trail runs mostly in the forest with views of the surrounding mountains. When you reach the rest area, it is worth stopping for a moment to enjoy the view. Continue along the path until you finally reach Prodalp. Here you have the option of continuing the winter hike to Fursch. This hiking trail is signposted on Prodalp.

Geheimtipp

In the sunny Panüöl with the best view of the landmark Spitzmeilen, the popular and well-known Panüöler cheese slices, a cheese fondue or a raclette are recommended.

Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes.

Directions

On the Prodalp we pass the valley station of the 8-seater chairlift to the left of the slope. There we follow the quiet winter hiking trail towards Panüöl. The trail climbs continuously and is shared with cross-country skiers. At the Rotenberg rest area we can enjoy the wonderful view to the Spitzmeilen. The restaurant in Panüöl is very quiet and has been equipped with great attention to detail. The view of the surrounding mountains is overwhelming.

Public Transport

By train to Flums or Sargans, then by bus 441 to the tannenheim Post stop and then by gondola to Prodalp.

Anreise Information

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, then follow the main road towards Flumserberg to Tannenheim.

Parking

Public parking is available opposite the Poschti-Lädäli in tannenheim.

Parking is available from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we are allowed to leave the car for free.

After 02.00 to 07.00 a.m. there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden multi-storey car park or in the Tannenheim.

The night car park can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
