Description

Start your walk in Tannenboden and take a short walk to the Sennästube restaurant, where you can enjoy a starter. With a well-filled backpack, stroll leisurely along the Grappa circular route. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to taste your homemade raclette either at the Heidi and Peter rest hut or on one of the many benches on the route. Your backpack is filled with raclette cheese from the Flumserberg alpine dairy and other culinary delicacies, from pickled vegetable varieties to exquisite wines. Strengthened and satisfied, continue your journey towards Molseralp to enjoy the dessert there and end your route comfortably. Experience unforgettable moments on this unique gourmet adventure!

Enjoy the raclette at the Heidi and Peter rest hut or on one of our many benches.

Equipment

Depending on the weather, good footwear is recommended; otherwise, light trekking or sneakers are sufficient for the route.

Directions

We start in Tannenboden and hike to Tannenbodenalp, where the Sennästube restaurant is located. There we will be treated to a fine starter. Afterwards, we receive our prepared raclette backpack at the restaurant and continue our hike on the Grappa circular route towards Chrüz. Along the way, we have the opportunity to enjoy the raclette either at the Heidi and Peter rest hut or on one of the many benches. Then we continue our way, cross the piste, and finally reach the Molseralp restaurant in Tannenboden. The dessert is already waiting for us there, and we hand back the raclette backpack.

Travel by train to Unterterzen and up with the Unterterzen - Tannenboden cable car
Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke with a transfer to the S4 to Unterterzen
Daily from St. Gallen with the S4 directly to Unterterzen
Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt with a transfer to bus 444 to Unterterzen


From Unterterzen, the 8-person gondola takes you directly to Flumserberg at the Tannenboden valley station LUFAG.
Travel by train to Flums and postbus to Flumserberg Tannenboden
Daily to Flums or Sargans, then continue with bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the Tannenboden cable car stop.

Travel Information

Take the Flums/Flumserberg motorway exit and follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.

Parking

Public parking is available at Tannenboden.
Parking is charged from 07:00 to 17:00. From 17:00 to 02:00, cars can be parked free of charge.
From 02:00 to 07:00, there is a night parking ban. Sufficient night parking is available in the Tannenboden parking garage or in Tannenheim.
The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
