Details
Description
You have never experienced the Rhine Gorge so varied. By RhB, post bus and of course also on foot, this hike opens up insight into the Rhine Gorge. Between Ilanz and Reichenau, the Vorderrhein has carved a huge gorge through the debris masses of the Flims rockslide. In the wild gorges, you experience pure adrenaline while river rafting, or you hike along rugged rock formations. The hike leads along the Rhine, through short forest sections and past wide meadows to Versam Station. From there, we have two options for the return journey. From Versam Station, we take the train to Trin Station and hike about 1 hour uphill to the Trin Digg Porclis post bus stop and from there take the post bus to Flims, or we take the train to Ilanz and from there the post bus to Flims with a short transfer in Laax Post. With the Ruinaulta ticket, we can use public transport in and around Ruinaulta for an entire day. The ticket for the Ruinaulta tour (including bus and train) can be purchased at the guest information offices in Flims Laax and Falera.
