Description

Many roads lead to Rome; the finely meshed network of paths in Heinzenberg allows for flexible adjustment at any time. Despite all the pedaling, do not neglect the intact village scenes, the architecture, and the great views.

Start at Cazis station, via St. Martin in a northern direction on the right bank of the Rhine to the Cazis industrial zone. Sharp left at the entrance, after a short climb turn left onto a romantic singletrail. In a loop back through Oberrealta, over two rough, short climbs to Ratitsch. Continue over Luvreu, now sweat-inducing, up to Raschlegnas. In serpentines, around the Heinzenberg ruin, into the tranquil Präz.

Entrance Dalin sharp right the last few altitude meters to the culmination point Prau Caguls. Airy over Lescha (restaurant) downhill through Sarn to Portein. Quick ride to point 1029, short pushing sections until the stream bed Porteiner Tobel, ideally when descending balance the bike on the rear wheel. Return via Tartar, Valleina, Schauenberg into the valley.

Hidden Gem
