Details
Description
High above the Rabiusa, you partly ride inside the rock downhill. The impressive deep views and the silence of nature are impressive. In front of the Versam gorge, you will also find a challenging but rideable, snake-like single trail.
At Trin station – in the middle of the famous Rhine Gorge – you reach the lowest point of the tour. From there you have to master the second climb. This is crowned by the magnificent panoramic view from the "il Spir" viewing platform. Everything that comes after is dessert: the view of the famous Cauma Lake, the rollercoaster-like descent to Bargaus, and the original village scene of Sagogn. They accompany you on the way back to the starting point in Ilanz.
Hidden Gem
The route is not suitable for beginners as it leads partly over exposed paths and short trail sections in the Versam gorge. Safe riding skills are essential.
The "il Spir" viewing platform is a must for trips to the Surselva holiday region. Nowhere else do you enjoy such an impressive view over the Ruinaulta (Rhine Gorge).
