Description

At the moment, finding the way on the roof of the newly renovated gallery along the lake is a bit difficult because an extension of the gallery is still under construction. But once up there, we are amazed by the view of the lake. And totally motivated! It runs very easy here and if we are on the way in the morning, the shadow of Piz Scopi keeps us nicely fresh.

From Hospezi Santa Maria, a military road leads further into Val Termine. At the end of the lake, where the Rein da Medel flows from Val Cadlimo into the lake, we find beautiful pools where we can take a short bath. The real sparkling freshness, but not for the faint-hearted!

With gentle ups and downs, it goes on a single trail towards Val Rondadura, where we meet an alpine road. The run out to the dam with a view of the Tödi is a pleasure.

Attention: Construction work is currently underway on the gallery. The gallery roof is closed. Status June 2023

Hidden Gem

With or without swim trunks - at the end of the lake, we can take a bath in the pools in Val Termine.
