Details
Description
After about 50 meters on the road towards Camana, turn left into the forest. The trail winds gently uphill through the forest. Soon you leave the forest and hike over wide slopes up to Innercamana. Here the trail turns left and ascends to the Camaner Hut.
There is a shortcut option at the bridge on the right. The bridge is crossed, then the trail is followed to the right descending to Camanaboda and further to Mura.
From the bridge, the trail ascends to the Camaner Hut. It continues from hut to hut until the trail almost ends at the end of the hut row, then leads down to Camanaboda. From there the trail descends to Mura at the post bus stop.
Safety Note
This snowshoe tour is marked in the terrain with pink posts but not tracked. There are some steeper slopes. In case of high avalanche danger, tours in unsecured terrain must generally be avoided. Please also observe the signage on site.
You can learn more about the current avalanche danger on WhiteRisk.
Carrying complete safety equipment, including an avalanche transceiver (LVS), is necessary on this route.
For relaxed enjoyment on longer tours, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking leaders of Surselva.

For us humans, winter is a wonderful time! Deeply snow-covered landscapes, clear, pure air, and in the evening after the snowshoe tour, a warm, cozy home awaits. But for our wildlife, such as roe deer, deer, and chamois, winter is a harsh time! Every disturbance by humans, every flight, is a torment for these animals and drains their reserves. Stay on the published route! This protects the wildlife and quiet zones. www.map.geo.gr.ch/gr_webmaps/wsgi/theme/Wildruhezonen
