Schwellisee

The route starts in Arosa and leads over Scheitenböden to Prätschli. From there, you ride leisurely on the Arlenwaldweg to the intermediate station and have a great view towards Medergen. Especially at sunset, this is a special experience not to be missed. The path continues to climb steadily before it leads into a short descent after passing under the Carmenna chairlift. Upon reaching the Alpenblick restaurant, it is recommended to take a little break on the terrace and enjoy the view.

From the restaurant, the route follows a forest road to Schwellisse and then continues with a steep ascent to Arve – an ideal route layout for e-bikers. Upon arrival, a bike path separated from the hiking trail winds to the lowest part of the Hörnli Trail. After the flowing descent on the trail, it continues along a beautiful singletrail to Bärenbad, where you can prove your skills on singletrails through the forest.

Shortly before the Alteiner waterfalls, it then goes right through the wild and natural Isla to the reservoir and the final climb back to Arosa.

Note

After Schwellisee, the biker can break off the round at several points and return to the village of Arosa.
