Description

The short trail from Kulm is particularly suitable as an "after-work loop", because where better to relax than in the absolute tranquillity of the mountains? The short trail leads away from houses and village life through lush green meadows to Lake Schwelli, almost as far as Lake Älpli and back to Innerarosa.

Hidden Gem

In warm weather, cool off in the crystal-clear Schwellisee. Or just like that: a little extra loop around the Schwellisee.

Directions

The trail starts at Kulm on the asphalt road to Innerarosa and continues on the gravel path at Hotel Gspan. From here, the trail leads across lush green meadows almost to the Älplisee lake and in an arc around the Schwellisee lake. At the outflow of the Schwellisee, the trail leads down over the Plessur and the Gampitobelbach to the valley station of the Hörnli Express. A little further down, the neighborhood road is connected to the main road via a trail, which takes you back to the starting point.

Directions

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs every hour between Chur and Arosa. The local bus takes you from Arosa station to the Kulm stop (direction Hörnli). The trail starts and ends directly at the bus stop.

Travel Information

From Chur, follow the signs to Arosa. Drive along the main road to Innerarosa. You cannot miss the Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa on the left-hand side.

Parking

As there is only a limited number of parking spaces available at the Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa, we recommend parking your car in the Innerarosa parking garage at Brüggli.
