Description

The short trail from Kulm is especially suitable as an "after-work route," because where else can you relax better than in the absolute tranquility of the mountain world? The short trail leads away from houses and village life through lush green meadows to the Schwellisee, almost to the Älplisee, and back to Innerarosa.

Hidden Gem

On warm days, a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear Schwellisee. Or just like that: a small extra route around the Schwellisee.

Directions

At Kulm, the trail starts on the paved road to Innerarosa and continues on the gravel path at Hotel Gspan. From here, the path leads over lush green meadows almost to the Älplisee and curves around the Schwellisee. At the outflow of the Schwellisee, the path goes down over the Plessur and the Gampitobelbach to the valley station of the Hörnli Express. Slightly further down, the neighborhood street is connected to the main road by a footpath, allowing you to return to the starting point.

Directions

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly between Chur and Arosa. At Arosa station, the local bus takes you to the Kulm stop (direction Hörnli). The trail starts and ends directly at the stop.

Travel Information

From Chur, follow the signs to Arosa and drive along the main road to Innerarosa. The Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa on the left side is impossible to miss.

Parking

Since the Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa has only a limited number of parking spaces, it is recommended to park the car in the Innerarosa parking garage near Brüggli.
