Description

Experience the magic of the crystal-clear mountain lakes. Wonderful how the Engadine sky is reflected in them!

The starting point is the Furtschellas mountain station, 2312 m above sea level. From there, the 2 ½ hour circular hike first leads towards Alp Munt. Soon the Water Trail branches off to the left, and a short, steep section lies ahead. And soon you see the first of the six small mountain lakes, the Lejin Cristal, followed by the Lejin Magnetit, Lejin Malachit, Lejin Rhodonit, Lejin S-chaglia, and finally the Lejin Epidot. At every step, enjoy the view up to the icy pinnacles and rocky flanks of the Corvatsch massif. Numerous rest areas invite you to linger. Refreshments are available in the Rabgiusa hut or in the restaurant La Chüdera with its generous viewing terrace.

Hidden Gem

The Water Trail audio tour with exciting stories of the fairy and the mountain goblin can be downloaded directly from the homepage. Furthermore, the brochure "Plitsch und Platsch" can be obtained free of charge at the ticket offices of the valley stations Corvatsch and Furtschellas.

Safety Note

Warning: Snowfields may be present on high-altitude sections into the summer months.

The path is additionally marked with posts bearing the official hiking trail designation – white – red – white (mountain hiking trail).
