Description

This snowshoe trail is signposted.

The circular tour starts at the Catholic parish church of St. Zeno in Ladir. From there, the marked trail leads across a meadow to the end of the village, where the cross-country ski trail is located. From here, it is advisable to follow the snowshoe trail in a clockwise direction. This means it goes off to the left across meadows and through woodland. The route offers regular ascents for enjoyable snowshoeing. There is only one steeper section on the descent. The highlight of this snowshoe trail is the Alp la Muota, which is in deep hibernation until the next alpine summer. Once you reach the top, you are greeted by a charming winter landscape. It offers tranquillity and an impressive panoramic view. The view of the Signina group with the Piz Fess or towards Val Lumnezia and Vals is impressive up here. From Alp la Muota, you finally return along the same route before following the continuing circular tour back towards Ladir. This snowshoe trail is quite snow-sure.

Geheimtipp

Stop off at the La Terrassa restaurant in Ladir and enjoy a delicious meal. The large terrace is open when the weather is fine.

The “Tancadi Run Giosch” (self-service snack bar) is open from October until around the end of April. The path of this route leads past this “filling station”.
