Details

Description

This ski route starts directly at Juf at the southern parking lot. From the village, first cross the young Jufer Rhein. Then a southern and easier ascent to Schinetabach. Follow the northeast ridge up to point 2650 and continue to the north ridge. Once on the north ridge, proceed southwards up to the summit. At the summit, you can expect breathtaking views of the Bergalga valley and Avers. After the rather short route, alpine skiing is available in the Avers ski area. For lunch, various small restaurants and hotels in the Avers high valley offer regional delicacies. You will also find a grocery store and small farm shops operated by local farmers in the high valley. Due to the high location in Avers, snow conditions are mostly good for ski touring well into spring.

Hidden Gem

The Alpenrose Juf offers culinary delights after the ski route.
