Description
Almost seven kilometers of sledding fun through the wild and romantic gorge can be experienced on the Zervreila route.
You start in Zervreila. You can get there either via the Gadastatt - Zervreila hike (with the gondola to Gadastatt, then Gadastatt - Zerfreila about 2 hours hike) or directly with the Zervreila shuttle. Timetable see https://www.vals.ch/
Hidden Gem
Relax comfortably at the Restaurant Zervreila.
Sleds can be rented at Restaurant Zervreila. (Please always check if Restaurant Zervreila is open and how the sledding conditions are.
Tel. 081 935 11 66). No sleds are rented under poor, icy conditions.
Safety Note
Please always adapt your driving to the conditions. You are on a road that is used by cars for much of the way. Always watch out for traffic and oncoming vehicles.
Always observe the current avalanche, snow, and road conditions. Please inquire at Visit Vals Tourism whether the sledding path is open.
Equipment
Solid, warm clothing, good winter shoes.
Directions
Coming from Zervreila, the sledding route in the middle section runs over the old road. This branches off before the long tunnel, and you glide down to the valley at varying speeds. Two short tunnels must also be passed here, which are specially prepared for sledders with a "snow carpet." Further down, you reach the regular road again, where caution is required due to oncoming traffic.

Then continue with the private Zervreila shuttle to Zerfreila.
