Description
This trail is demanding and partly exposed, with some challenging climbs that are only suitable for riders with good fitness. The path mostly follows the ridge, winding as a narrow gravel road along the mountain back. Endurance is required here – the slopes are often so steep that you have to push the bike in some sections. After the Greitspitzbahn, an outstanding trail awaits, giving an incredible feeling of freedom. At over 2,780 m above sea level, the path leads to Salaaser Kopf. Then begins the descent section. It becomes clear why smugglers used this path in the past; you’ll hardly meet anyone. A pleasant trail leads to the mountain station Alp Trider Sattel.
