Description

The Schatzalp is also known as the "Zauberberg" and still attracts many culture enthusiasts to Davos today, who go in search of the locations of Thomas Mann's novel of the same name. The idyllic Schatzalp can be reached from Davos with the Schatzalp-Bahn and you are already rewarded there with a fantastic view. 


The route leads through the Alpinum with plants from all over the world up to the waterfall. Then the Sonnenweg, rightfully named, leads over the Stafel Alp back to the Schatzalp. The mountain restaurant Strela Alp lies sun-soaked at 1,920 meters and offers, in addition to traditional hospitality, a wonderful view of Davos and the surrounding mountain world.
