Description
The heart of the route: from the lake to the summit!
After one flat kilometer the climb already begins. Along the Eichhörnliweg and over Scheitaboda it continues to Prätschli, where there is a bus stop and a hotel. From here the path leads back down to Scheitaboda and from there up to the Tschuggen hut via KuhBar, where in winter the après-ski really livens up. Past the Arosa Bear Land and through the Arlenwald there is a relatively easy section to the General Guisan Platz. From now on the altitude meters add up with almost every step. The goal is long in sight, but the route stretches out. At the Sattelhütte the last strength is mobilized. The final kilometer is extremely steep and seems endless. On the Weisshorn, which is 2,649 meters above sea level, there is an impressive panorama as a reward.
