Description

The route starts at the indoor pool in St. Moritz Bad and leads past the tennis hall and through the campsite up to Lej Marsch. Then following the natural road along the Inn and before Lake Champfèrer over the bridge into the forest uphill. Past the first houses of Surlej, the road climbs to the raised bog Palüd Lungia and further to Lej Zuppò. Keeping right through the forest and down almost back to the tennis hall, the natural road leads behind the health spa and up into the Stazerwald. After a few hundred meters the alpine road branches right up to Alp da Staz. The ascent is steep, but the plateau of Alp Staz is worth the effort. Following route 627 you come to Lake Staz with swimming opportunities and barbecue areas. Relaxed on the natural road and past raised bogs the starting point is reached again.
