Third stage of the multi-day National Park hiking route, easy variant. High-altitude hike via Alp da Munt and Alp Champatsch to Tschierv with views of the distinctive peaks of Piz Daint and Piz Dora and the snow-covered summit of the Ortler massif.

Description
From the Ofen Pass height (2149 m above sea level) the path ascends gently and very scenically to Alp da Munt (2213 m a.s.l.), and further past the small lake Juata to Alp Champatsch (2213 m a.s.l.), which invites to rest. Through the larch forest the path leads past the bear theme trail down to the village Lü (1920 m a.s.l.), known for its rare and diverse alpine flora. From Lü you continue on the gently descending trail with constant views over the valley down to Tschierv (1660 m a.s.l.).
Hidden Gem
As an alternative, the slightly longer variant on the opposite valley side via Jufplaun to Alp Mora and via Alp Sprella to Tschierv is offered.
Safety Note
The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; current weather conditions and forecasts must be observed before starting. This hike requires no alpine experience.
Hiking boots are recommended.

- By PostAuto from Zernez or from Val Müstair and Mals hourly to Süsom Givè

- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass to Zernez on H27. From Zernez on H28 towards Val Müstair to the Süsom Givè pass height (30 minutes from Vereina south portal)
- From the east: via Reschen pass (Nauders) on SS40 to Mals. From Mals on SS41 to the Swiss border at Müstair. From Müstair on H28 towards Zernez to the Süsom Givè pass height
- From the south: via Bolzano and Merano on SS40 to Mals. From Mals on SS41 to the Swiss border at Müstair. From Müstair on H28 to the Süsom Givè pass height
