Trail Running - Skyrace Valmalenco - Valposchiavo

The route, on which the SkyRace Valmalenco–Valposchiavo takes place every two years, connects two Alpine areas full of character. The start is in Lanzada, which can be reached by public transport from Poschiavo. An initially quite demanding climb leads over technical paths to increasingly open landscapes. After about 15 km you will reach the Campo Moro dam. From here, the route offers exceptional views of the Bernina Group and leads to the highest point, the Passo di Campagneda. The route continues to Passo Canciano, where an initially technical descent begins, which requires attention and good terrain. The last part is increasingly fluid: a dirt road that leads through the wasteland of Selva takes you to the piazza of Poschiavo. A varied and panoramic route between alpine paths, scree fields and technical sections, ideal for those looking for an intense and cross-border trail running experience.
