Description

Starting from Mesocco in the Mesolcina valley, head towards Anzone, at an altitude of 878 meters. The climb between mountain huts and small hairpin bends follows the Sentèi de Trescolmen, which enters the forest surrounding the village and continues steeply up to Alpe Curtas, located at 1634 meters altitude. Once you reach the Bocchetta del Trescolmen at 2161 m, continue almost flat until the Trescolmen lake. The waters of the glacier-origin pond have shades of intense blue and reach 14 meters in depth, making it one of the most fascinating and deepest in the region. Continuing the walk towards Rossa in the Calanca valley, you leave behind the majestic natural amphitheater of Alpe Trescolmen. At about 1800 meters altitude, you cross the Rià de Campalesc and move to the left side of Val Largè. The descent continues along the river until arrival at Casinot, where the path gradually continues sheltered by the shade of the trees until Valbella. From here, you can decide to continue to the picturesque village of Rossa.
