Description
Transfer by PostAuto from Sent to Val Sinestra (1524 m above sea level). The hike begins at the former spa house Val Sinestra. Until Hof Zuort, the La Brancla stream is crossed several times, including over two suspension bridges. At Hof Zuort, flower and herb meadows begin. Steadily ascending, the trail leads through the Val Chöglas to the highest point of this stage, the Cuolmen d'Fenga (Fimberpass), which leads into the extensive Val Fenga. With some luck, ibex can be spotted. After a short descent, the Heidelberger Hut is reached. The hut is run by the German Alpine Club (DAV) and is managed by an Austrian hut warden, located on Swiss territory.
