Description
Transfer by PostAuto from Sent to Val Sinestra (1524 m above sea level). The hike starts at the former spa house Val Sinestra. Up to Hof Zuort, the creek La Brancla is crossed several times, including two suspension bridges. At Hof Zuort, the flower and herb meadows begin. From Griosch, hike about 500 meters downhill before the path turns towards Fuorcla Maisas. Via Alp Pradgiant steadily ascends. The vegetation thins out as the highest point of this stage, Fuorcla Maisas (2907 m above sea level), approaches. From the pass between Muttler and Stammerspitz, the view opens into Val Maisas. On the western flank of Muttler, the highest mountain of Samnaun, the path descends steeply and stonily to Rossboden. From here, vegetation returns as it accompanies the hikers through Val Maisas to Samnaun village.

Directions
- Start at the spa house Val Sinestra
- Follow and cross the La Brancla creek towards Hof Zuort
- Continue to Griosch
- About 500 m towards the valley exit
- Turn off towards Fuorcla Maisas
- Via Alp Pradgiant to Fuorcla Maisas
- After crossing the pass, steeply down to Rossboden
- Through Val Maisas to Samnaun

- By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Upper Engadine) or by the PostAuto (from Martina, Ftan or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- By PostAuto route no. 925 from Scuol-Tarasp via Sent to Val Sinestra.
Travel Information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass into the Lower Engadine on route H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on route H27
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on route H27
Val Sinestra near Sent can be reached from the Engadine road H27 at Scuol in 20 minutes by car (50 minutes driving time from Vereina south portal)
