Description

This impressive gravel tour combines wide river landscapes with unspoilt mountain nature. From Scuol, we first roll along the course of the Inn in a relaxed manner before the real highlight begins after about ten kilometres: the ascent to the secluded Val Sinestra.

Via Ramosch and Vnà, the route winds steadily higher into the valley. The landscape becomes quieter, the air clearer, nature more pristine. At the very back of the valley, we turn back – a place of peace where you can feel the seclusion of the mountains intensely.

Around 1000 metres of altitude have to be worked out, but the reward follows on the way back: on the right side of the valley, magnificent views over the Engadine mountains open up. Finally we reach Sent and with it the relaxed liveliness of the Lower Engadine again. From here it is only a short, enjoyable end back to Scuol.
