The seventh stage of the Via Grischuna, which connects the two famous Swiss mountain destinations Davos Klosters and St. Moritz, starts in Pontresina and leads over the Segantini hut and through the Stazerwald to St. Moritz.

Description

The start from Pontresina leads directly under the Alp Languard chairlift. Via steep switchbacks, you reach the high plateau of Val Languard through the forest. Above Pontresina, the ascent leads along the slope up to the Chamanna Segantini. From the hut, further down via wide stone steps into Val Muragl. The descent through the forest leads almost back to Pontresina before the path branches off in Muragl and crosses the Flaz. Lej da Staz is the next destination before reaching the shore of Lej da San Murezzan, and with the last steps along the lake, the goal is reached: St. Moritz.
