Description
The episcopal town of Chur is considered the oldest town in Switzerland. Through the German-speaking Churwald valley runs the wild Rabiosa gorge with its Passugger mineral springs. The spa hotel still bears witness today to the Passugger spa operation from the interwar period. Cultural sights from medieval times include the Strassberg Malix castle ruins, the Churwalden monastery church and the Reformed Church Parpan with its freestanding church tower.

Hidden Gem
The Via Sett is walkable from mid-June to mid-October, depending on weather conditions. The approximately 93 km long long-distance hike from Chur (CH) to Chiavenna (IT) can be hiked in 6 or 7 daily stages. The average walking time per day is 4 - 7 hours.
