Description
Lantsch/Lenz is the gateway to Parc Ela, Switzerland's largest nature park. Passing the mountain huts of Tschividains, we go to the chapel of Son Cassian. The house «La Tor», medieval customs station, still reminds us of the importance of Lantsch/Lenz as a port station on Septimerweg. Prehistoric finds near the hill "Bot da Loz" and the church of St. Maria with the wrought-iron grave crosses are further cultural highlights, including the Carolingian church of St. Peter Mistail (Alvaschein). At the confluence of Julia and Albula, the Via Sett leads over the former customs bridge to Tiefencastel.
