Description

More than 20 information boards accompany you on the 8 km long nature trail from Giraniga up to the Sassli fireplace. We continue over the 44-metre-long suspension bridge over the Schlettertobel. Crossing the ravine over the suspension bridge, about 16 m above the stream bed, becomes a small test of courage for some! After a short ascent, the unique panoramic view awaits you at the Plàmpoort fireplace (1676 m above sea level) below the Kartitscha. This viewpoint allows you to determine all the peaks of the opposite mountain ranges and offers a breathtaking panorama.

The fireplace Plàmpoort, equipped with drinking water from the well and a toilet building in log construction, invites you to linger and relax. The descent to Miraniga becomes a walk with views in the various directions of the Surselva. Once with a view to Chur and in the other direction to Disentis, as well as on the opposite side of the valley to the beautiful summit panorama. The nature trail reflects the direct interactions between man, nature and landscape.
