Details
Description
The 'Calondis Circular Route' is one of the winter hiking gems in Pany. It combines nearly three hours of activity in the crystal-clear winter air with magnificent scenic impressions and a fabulous view over the whole Prättigau, especially over the rear Prättigau on the ascent, and then onto the front Prättigau on the descent. Despite an ascent of nearly 400 meters, it is well suited for families and children. Various benches along the way invite you to rest and enjoy, e.g. also in the idyllic Maiensässdörfchen Tratza.
The route is usually groomed from around Christmas until mid-March.
Trail condition
Hidden Gem

Safety Note
The winter hiking trail may be temporarily closed for safety reasons after heavy snowfalls and during strong warming toward spring. Please observe the signage.

Directions
From the ski lift parking lot, take Bovastrasse towards Bova/Boden. Pass Chrüzhof and gently ascend almost continuously in the sun to the signposted left junction (winter signpost). Through forest and Maiensäss meadows, it continues slightly uphill to the culmination point 'Calondis' at 1729 m. On the descent, you reach the Maiensässdörfchen Tratza and follow the descent (also sledding run) towards Pany/Riedwies. At the second junction to the left, take the direct descent back to the ski lift, thus reaching the starting point.
