Berschnerfall

The Berschner Falls above Berschis near Walenstadt is 46m high and according to the waterfall type category a so-called "isolated case". It is well hidden, but no less impressive. From the village of Berschis, you hike in about 25 minutes into a small ravine, where, after a curve around a small rock, the Berschner Falls suddenly pile up in front of the visitor.

An information stele in the village of Berschis provides information about the Berschner Falls and shows the way on site. The information stele is located in the village at the intersection of Bachsandweg and Cavortschstrasse on the way to St. Georgenhügel.

Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring at the time of snowmelt or after intense rainfall.
