Natural Monument Heidiland

Description
Through a gate in the high monastery wall, one enters the well-tended small garden with the large beech tree. Connect with the beech tree, lean against its trunk, and sense and absorb its strong energies. The beech is what is known as a "radiation avoider," just like humans. Disturbances and geological faults in the earth’s interior are amplified by groundwater flows in such a way that interference fields or stress zones become noticeable at the earth’s surface. There are plants and animals that seek out these radiation zones and thrive particularly well there—for example, the oak tree, which is known as a “radiation seeker.” And there are those that prefer the opposite, such as the linden and beech trees.
