Feuerstelle Cagliatscha

The ruins of Cagliatscha Castle are situated at 1182 metres above sea level between Andeer and Clugin on a rocky outcrop high above the valley. In front of the ruins is a picnic area with a barbecue site and a fountain, offering a magnificent view of the valley.

Description

The fireplace can be easily reached from Clugin via a hiking trail in a good thirty minutes. Follow the hiking trail signposts in the direction of "Ruina Cagliatscha".

Public Transport

Clugin is not accessible by post bus. The nearest postbus stop is "Pignia, Abzw. Clugin". You can find the timetable at www.sbb.ch.

From there it is a 45-minute walk to the Burguine.

Access is permitted as far as the Schmelza timber handling site. Plan your journey with the Google route planner.

Parking

There are several car parks at the Schmelze timber handling site. From the car park, it is only a 5-minute walk to the ruins and the fireplace.
