This fireplace is located near the village of Splügen on the Hinterrhein.
Description
The fireplace can be reached on foot via a short walk of approx. 1.2 km from the village of Splügen. The path is signposted at the Volg in the village and leads you to the fireplace on an easy hike. The path is very suitable for children, but not suitable for pushchairs. The Zipfa fireplace is not far from the A13 motorway and a high-voltage power line. Nevertheless, it is relatively quiet and offers a family a good place to rest. In addition to a fire cooker, wood and two benches, the fireplace has a beautiful stone table. The fireplace is close to the Hinterrhein, which is not suitable for swimming due to the current.

If you are travelling by car, leave the A13/E43 national road at exit 28-Splügen. Plan your journey with the Google route planner.
Parking
Free parking is available at the Splügen cable car station and there is also free parking at the Flütsch car park on Italienische Strasse in Splügen.
