The host Andi Angehrn and his team attach great importance to fresh cuisine with high-quality products from farms with natural and animal-friendly production. The varied creations of the Thurgau restaurateur delight the eyes and stomach. Thanks to the high quality and consistent performance, Andi Angehrn and his team were delighted to be accepted into the guild of established Swiss restaurateurs in 2012.
Culture is important to the Angehrn family, which is why they cultivate it with events in the Burgbar, the Hagenwil Castle Festival or with the Harvest Festival. The rooms of the moated castle offer a cosy ambience for events with up to 110 people, and aperitifs can accommodate up to 150 guests.
The moated castle of Hagenwil has rooms that are still in their original condition. In the four-poster bed room, an overnight stay is possible on request, for example for a wedding couple, birthday children, etc.
