The gallery represents over 100 artists and estates that have shaped its identity over the last quarter century and provide the inspiration for Hauser & Wirth's multifaceted activities in the fields of art, education, conversation and sustainability. **Current exhibition** from July 3 to September 14, 2024: 14 works by internationally recognized artist Anna Maria Maiolino. Born in Italy in 1942, Maiolino is now a major Brazilian artist whose work spans various disciplines such as drawing, sculpture and film. Her work addresses subjectivity and self, often through abstract and fragmented surfaces. Maiolino was recently awarded the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement at the 2024 Venice Art Biennale. Her sculpture series "Hilomorfos" and works from the series "Ações Matéricas" working with materials such as bronze and acrylic ink will be on display in St. Moritz, among others.
