Heuberge Sommer

In summer, the Heuberge offer countless attractions and various opportunities to stay on the mountain at 2,000 m above sea level on hot summer days.

The Heuberge, for example, are a paradise for plant lovers. The summer meadows offer a biodiversity that is second to none. The signposted "Bluämäwäg" starts right at the Berghaus.

Wildlife can also often be spotted: red deer can be observed very close to the Glattwang early in the morning. It is a rarity that you can count over a hundred red deer in a single place, and in the rocky flanks of the Glattwang, with a little luck and favourable wind, chamois and their young can also be observed up close.

Mountain enthusiasts are also very welcome, whether with or without electric drive - an E- charging station provides the necessary "juice". Via a mountain road with a magnificent view you can reach the Fideriser Heuberge by bike. Arriving at the destination, the ascent was doubly worthwhile; a wonderful view of the Prättigau and the Rätikon and as the first biker of the day you get a free Heubergschorle for refreshment.

In the mountain houses of the Fideriser Heuberge there is enough space for groups of up to 300 people. Rooms are simply and functionally furnished, ranging from double rooms with shared showers to dormitories of various sizes.

In addition, sustainability and innovation are always accompanying thoughts in the Heubergen; Most of the specialities are produced in-house, meat is sourced from farmers in the immediate vicinity and the other products come almost exclusively from Switzerland. The solar sauna with Lytefire technology is also innovative: a powerful, silent and sustainable sauna experience at 2,000 m above sea level! If you like it active, you will find various possibilities: from a leisurely walk up to the idyllic Cluner lakes, over panoramic hiking and biking routes, to the rapid bikeboard descent or organized and supervised group games.

Arrival by car
In summer, the road is open to private traffic and the Berghaus Arflina can be reached by car. A permit is required for road use.

Arrival by public transport
In summer, Heuberg buses run on Saturday and Sunday at fixed times from Küblis and Fideris (with bike transport trailer). By appointment and from 6 persons, rides are also offered from Wednesday to Friday.
