Länta Hütte SAC

The Länta-Hütte SAC can only be reached on foot, so that the passionate hut warden and mountaineer Thomas Meier has to fly in six tons of food by helicopter at the beginning of the season and marches once or twice a week with his donkeys to Vals to buy fresh produce. Because a fresh kitchen – Meier himself is at the stove – is important to him. The Länta-Hütte, which is looked after by three people, offers 33 beds. The season begins with the high alpine ski tours in March and lasts until mid / end of May. The season for hikers starts in mid/late June and lasts until mid-October.
