The butcher's shop, family-run for more than sixty years, is the only one present in the Val Bregaglia and in the Maloja District.


 


 

Description

Giannina and Renato Chiesa have been looking forward to your visit since 1986 and await you daily with a wide range of fresh meat (cookies, minced meat, ragout, sausages, charcuterie and much more).

Particularly popular are the salametti - which are dried in the cellar - from deer meat, with chestnuts, mountain herbs or hazelnuts.

During the hunting season in autumn you will also find fresh game meat at the Macelleria Chiesa. On the occasion of the Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations, you should not miss the fondue chinoise (beef, veal or game). 

The animals come from farmers in the region and are slaughtered in their own slaughterhouse. Part of the meat is returned to the farmers for their own use, while the remaining part is sold in the store.
